Susan Himes-Powers
Susan, PMA-CPT, is a professional actor and singer who came to Pilates because of her interest in posture and alignment. She was trained at the Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, and has been teaching Pilates since 1999. She is also a certified massage therapist, a Franklin Method Educator: Level 2 and is educated in Balanced View. Susan is a very creative teacher and works with all levels of clientele. She approaches each client with an open mind, a kind sense of humor and a curious spirit to discover their full potential through balance, release and strength. For six years, Susan was the visiting faculty for a Pilates teacher training program on the East Coast and currently teaches continuing education in functional movement at Simply Balanced.

Kinh O'Brien
Kinh is a Pilates teacher with over seven years of Pilates experience both on the mat and equipment. Her repertoire and teaching style draws from her active lifetime experiences in movement from sports to dance and yoga. After a decade as an executive in Corporate America, she went back to her roots in movement and received her training at the Pilates Integrated Teacher Training (ITT) in San Francisco. Led by the belief that movement should be a part of everyday life, Kinh offers her students an opportunity to focus on their health and bodies, as well as create a partnership between teacher and student, developing safe, effective and fun programs to help attain fitness and health goals.

Charlotte Penenberg
Charlotte Butler Penenberg has been teaching Pilates since 1998 and is the owner of Streamline Pilates Studio in Brooklyn Heights, New York. Trained through PhysicalMind Institute in New York City, and a member of the PMA, Charlotte brings 18 years of experience in massage and structural bodywork to her Pilates practice. While learning the Lauren Berry Method, she apprenticed for three years and studied corrective muscle techniques. She enjoys working with people of all ages and levels; from those rehabilitating injuries or suffering from chronic pain to those who want to stay fit and strong. She recently completed her Masters Certificate in Pilates from The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado. She is honored and excited to be a part of this team!

Wendy Taubler
Wendy Taubler is a Pilates teacher with more than five years of experience and another 10 years as a practitioner of the Pilates method. She trained in Boulder, Colorado, and has continued her education with various workshops and clinics. Wendy's background in sports (volleyball) and traditional strength training programs adds another dimension to her teaching style. Wendy loves to bring clients up through the different levels of the Pilates exercises and enjoys helping people achieve their health and wellness goals. She has experience working with a variety of ages, fitness levels, pregnancy (pre/post), and rehabilitation needs.

Laura Torres
Laura comes from a dance background and has enjoyed moving and teaching movement her whole life! She was a dancer, choreographer, licensed massage therapist, and personal trainer specializing in rehabilitative exercise in NYC before returning to her native San Francisco in 1991. In San Francisco, Laura became a Pilates instructor and developed and taught curriculum for Pilates teachers' training. Laura returns to Pilates and bodywork after taking time off to raise her two young sons to continue her beloved mission: to support people in experiencing the pleasure of living in their bodies. She is particularly inspired to work with older adults, beginners, people recovering from injury, and overworked moms!

Creta Valiente
Creta completed her Pilates training through ITT Pilates Certification here in San Francisco. She has performed professionally as a synchronized swimmer, as well as worked as a television programmer and creative manager of choreography. Creta is a native speaker of Spanish, and brings a positive and enthusiastic quality to her teaching. Currently she teaches dance as well as Pilates with a passion for inspiring students, whether beginners or advanced, to their full potential.
